Adopt Films Acquires Silver Bear Champion Barbara: Berlin
Adopt Films is ongoing its trading spree within the Berlin Worldwide Film Festival, landing U.S. rights to Christian Petzold’s drama Barbarajust just before the film won the runner-up Silver Bear within the festival’s honours ceremony yesterday. The newest deal, introduced today, uses Adopt acquired the festival’s eventual Golden Bear champion, Paolo and Vittorio Tavianis semi-documentary Caesar Must Die. The distributor also nabbed rights in Berlin toUrsula Meiers Sister.
