Is Star wars episode 2, is the bounty hunter that attacks OBIE a clone of jango, or jango himself?

I am looking at an article about Boba Fett and it says this:

Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002) establishes Boba
Fett's back story as a clone of Jango Fett, a bounty hunter who raises
Boba as a son.

I don't know exactly but it seemed to me that when OBIE went to that
planet he asked to talk to the ORIGINAL Jango who was the blueprint
for the clones. I thought they were encountering the real jango fett
and his son, not a clone?
